Bachelor's Program Work
I earned my first degree at the University of Little Rock in exercise science and health promotion. I had a strong interest in exercise physiology and its importance with the military and individuals with injury. I also completed my internship at a physical therapy clinic to further the application of my education. My second bachelors program is in nutrition on track to become a dietitian. During my schooling I applied counseling skills in a clinical settings as well as multiple in person physical assessments to correlate to class curriculum. Apart from being a student I also completed health fliers as a student liaison for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. I also developed a week long event for National Nutrition Month in the Distance Student Dietetic Association as its chair member.

Master's Program Work
During my time in the Master's program at UWF I was able to develop projects and research plans that aim to improve public health. I had the opportunity to interview medical professionals on impacts of chronic conditions and develop prevention plans using evidence based research to change health outcomes. As you review it is clear I took a keen interest in type 2 diabetes and its prevention. I’ve had the opportunity to create a variety of educational materials in class and in my internship regarding this and many other topics. I thrive on creative challenges and enjoy building strong relationships along the way. Explore a few samples of my work below, and contact me directly to learn more.
